你開始了解烏托邦這詞，是五年前他們從台北搬去宜蘭，開始完全過著自耕農生活而慢慢體會烏托邦。他們是你的父母，你最早形容他們是個嬉皮，應該說是你的父親是個嬉皮，而你的母親只是在結婚前，天真地說了：在一起，吃一碗陽春麵就會飽！充其數只是嬉皮的追隨者。你們的相處模式是親密，但保持著適當的距離，彼此不過度干涉，包括你選擇你自己的人生，然後對自己完全的負責。在還相不相信是否有沒有烏托邦存在時，你已經使用你的自由－自由是一個眼神，一種語調，每一瞬間都來自於內心的態度，你要的就是這瞬間即逝的自由，於是你坦然，於是你不拖不欠。你對烏托邦的想像與想法，其實在這一期的學者論述－難攻博士的「看不見的烏托邦」已經說的明白。

 

在這之外，最近讓你最不明白的，是三月時那些在台灣太陽花社運時，暗指街頭運動是破壞社會制序的人們，卻在九月香港雨傘革命時，喊著「香港加油！」你在想這是什麼邏輯？你更深的納悶則是這些人的「立場」...。近日，你和同事們與親朋好友們不買、不吃、不用一起抵制黑心的頂新集團。接著，你看到更多民眾、學校到各縣市發表聲明抵制時，你想著那無能的政府，連吭聲氣的魄力也不肯拿出來，卻在他的國慶，歌頌他以為的美好生活。

 

是該休息的早上，你不會放棄往美好之地，至善之念的烏托邦前進。

 

You begin to understand the word utopia. Five years ago they moved from Taipei to Yilan and began to live as a yeoman and slowly appreciate utopia. They were your parents who were described as hippies by you. It ought to be said that your father was a hippie, and just before their marriage your mother naively said, “Let’s be together. I don’t mind having just a bowl of noodles for each meal”. Indeed, she was just a hippie follower. You were very close to one another; however, there was a proper distance maintained and you did not interfere with each other, including with the life you chose to live. Before you believed in the existence of utopia, you had already used your freedom – freedom was a look, or a tone. Every moment came from the attitude of the inner heart. The freedom of the brief moment was what you wanted; thus, you felt calm and you did not drag down or owe anyone anything. Your imagination and idea of utopia, in fact, had been said to be understood in “Invisible Utopia” by  Dr. Hard to be attacked in this issue’s scholars discussion. 

 

Moreover, you might have questions on the recent social movements in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Those who claimed the Sunflower Social Movement in March in Taiwan was an action of damaging the social order yelled “Go Hong Kong!” at Hong Kong Umbrella Revolution in September. What was the type of logic? What was these people’s standpoint? Recently, your colleagues, your relatives and friends, and you, might put all your effort together to fight against Ting Hsin International Group for producing seriously risky food. When more people and schools boycotted our government, our incompetent government did not have the courage to say anything. Instead, the government praised the good life on its National Day. 

 

It was the morning for rest; however, you did not give up the opportunity to move forward towards the better place, Utopia.

The Chinese international version of "cacao Europa" has officially been released in September. The English-French dual language issue can be purchased at TATE Museum in London and Shakespeare Bookstore in Paris.
